Coffee Filter Wreath

I know there's a million of these floating around in the web but here is further proof that these coffee filter wreaths turn out pretty darn cute.

There's a tutorial here. I used the natural filters and stuck them to a paper plate that I cut a hole in cause I'm cheap like that.

  2. Is it wrong that I think this is hilarious? Also beautiful. I like it a lot.

  3. Is it hilarious that I used coffee filters to decorate my living room? Or that I used a paper plate? Or maybe that I took the time to glue gun many, many coffee filters to a paper plate and even burned myself to the point of blistering in the process?

  4. Boo boos are never funny. There is no place for cowardice in Christmas crafting, although I will say that my wounds have been of the less tangible, emotional variety this year. There were sighs and a hot pad and taking to one's bed. The pom poms just weren't working out.

I admire your perseverance and wonder if I am looking at an entire box of filters, or just a partial. The paper plate was pure genius.

  5. Just a partial box. I let Gideon play with the rest. He puts them in piles, turns them over and pretends they are mountains. He drives his trains around them.
I'm sorry the pom poms didn't work out. I made a pom-pom sheep ornament a couple years ago. It's pretty cute.
