Hoop Handle Handbag

Tuesday, June 7, 2011

I love this bag! I can't wait to make more. I'm still working on the pattern but it's definitely getting there. There are a few tutorials, like this one, for these types of bags floating around the web if you're interested in making one. They come together quickly (and they're very forgiving :)

@Vanessa
You should definitely try it Vanessa and just a tip (you may know this already but just in case...) If you want to use your machine to sew the casing around the hoops it can be tricky but I discovered that drawing a line to mark where to sew is very helpful. She explains it here:

I love the fabric! I have about four different bag handles that I've been holding onto FOREVER. You've inspired me to finally drag them out and make one!!!

I adulation this bag! I can't delay to accomplish more. I'm still alive on the arrangement but it's absolutely accepting there.
