Soup Can Upcycle

I've been trying to figure out what to do with a bunch of empty soup cans. (Hubby thought it was a good idea to buy 10 for $10 worth of Chef Boyardee) I feel like there's a lot of crafty things that could be done with them but I'm just not coming up with any on my own.

I might try one of these cute ideas though...

Just be careful: the interior rim is really sharp!

  3. no. But i watched Martha make them on TV once, ha, ha. They can be spray-painted and wrapped in fabric before the holes are punched. Battery-operated votive lights remove the fire-hazard fear.

I really like the poured candle idea you displayed, too. There are so many ways to decorate the outside of the can!

  4. Yeah, I like the candle idea too and I just made a couple. I'll post pics whenever they harden.
