Ruffle Cakes

Are these not two of the most beautiful cakes you've ever seen? I'd like to keep one on my nightstand next to my bed and not eat it. Just look at it. Forever.

Then I thought I would make one for Violet's 1st birthday coming up. Just kidding. I'll probably order cupcakes from Acme.

    So pretty {almost too pretty to eat...I said almost, I just wouldn't be able to resist diving into all of that ruffley frosting :)}

    Yes, they are gorgeous, but I would be forced to lick the one on the right. Just a huge swath all the way up the side of the cake--one big lick.

    Also, what is with the pinky-peachy?! Does it not seem like the most beautiful color in the world right now?

    It does to me.
