Still on a ruffle kick. They're a lot easier to make than I thought. There's a nice ruffle tutorial at A Pretty Cool Life.

I could totally see Audrey Hepburn carrying this, very elegant but also cute. I didn't know ruffles were so in, I have just completed a skirt with 3 layers of ruffles in mainly grey and lemon for my daughter, also on Sew Much Ado, which is where I found you!

That is fabulous! I love the color of the houndstooth - never seen it like that before. What a nice bag to carry around!

This is gorgeous! I've been wanting to make a black and white bag for a friend with a red ruffle (her fav colors) so I think I'll have to copy!

Thank you for visiting my blog, Jess. I truly envy(I know that is sinful) those who can sew beautifully! Wow, how creative you are. I am learning to sew Colonial clothes from my friend but sewing is definitely out of my comfort zone. :( Look forward to learning from you!

I love it! Houndstooth is so classic but you have thrown in the ruffle to mix it up just a little-so cute.
